Lauren Michelle Miller

Equipped with mostly a piano, sometimes a guitar, and always a powerful yet seemingly effortless voice, Lauren Michelle Miller writes, arranges, and beautifully sings her own compositions -- each one as emotive as they are infectious.

Born in Columbus, Georgia, in 1988, Lauren draws from a life deeply rooted in the South, melding her love for rock, folk, country, bluegrass, pop, and Americana with the musical influences she tellingly wears on her sleeves -- timeless artists like Elton John, the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Ryan Adams, and Sheryl Crow. She has showcased her original tunes in several venues around Georgia, has been heard on Georgia Public Radio, and was the 2008 winner of the singer/songwriter competition Rivertown Showdown back home in Columbus. In 2013, she was a staff songwriter for Carnival Music Publishing in Nashville, Tennessee.

Lauren studied at Kennesaw State University, acquiring a bachelor's degree in Communication & Journalism. Unsurprisingly, she has successfully applied that degree in many facets, from writing poetry to working in a prominent news/media outlet -- but none so poignantly as through her sharp songwriting.

Packed with charm, wit, and astounding talent, Lauren is destined for achieving something great musically, pleasing ears, stealing hearts, and blowing minds one song at a time.
